Authentication
All items submitted for consignment must be authentic. Luxury handbags and high-value items may require third-party authentication at The Reissued's discretion. We will notify consignors in advance when authentication is required.
- If an item passes authentication and sells, the authentication fee is absorbed by The Reissued as a cost of sale
- If an item fails authentication, the fee is the sole responsibility of the consignor and must be paid before the item is returned
- Submitting inauthentic items is a material breach of the Consignment Agreement
Pricing
The Reissued retains sole discretion to determine pricing, apply promotions, and adjust pricing based on market conditions and demand. We use market research, comparable sales, condition, and our expertise to price every piece competitively.
Consignors agree not to actively market or list consigned items for sale through other channels during the active consignment period.
Multi-Platform Pric
The Reissued's primary channels are our boutique, thereissued.com and our Instagram. At any given time, the price at which an item is currently listed through these primary channels, including any markdown applied during the consignment period, is referred to as the standard price.
The Reissued may also list pieces across additional sales channels, including live selling platforms, social media, curated pop-up events, specialty or collector retailers, and third-party marketplaces. Listed prices may vary by channel to account for platform fees, shipping costs, marketing and promotional efforts specific to that channel, and other channel-specific expenses.
Extending a piece's reach to additional channels takes real marketing effort on our part, and any amount above the standard price on a given channel is retained by The Reissued as revenue, covering that effort along with platform fees and other channel-specific costs.
Consignor payout is always calculated on the standard price, not the channel-specific listed price. If an item is marked down during the consignment period, payout reflects that markdown as well. This ensures your payout is based on comparable value across every channel, whether the item sells at full price, at a markdown, through a live selling event, social media, a specialty retailer, or a third-party platform.
Consignor Payout Structure
Payout is calculated as a percentage of the final selling price after any discounts, exclusive of applicable sales tax and shipping fees.
| Final Sale Price | Your Payout |
| Up to $249 | 50% |
| $250 to $1,499 | 60% |
| $1,500 and above | 70% |
Payouts are issued on the 7th of each month for items sold in the previous calendar month via ACH, check, or store credit. Balances under $50 are carried forward until the cumulative balance reaches $50 or the consignment term concludes, whichever comes first.
Modified payout arrangements may apply only if agreed to in writing and attached as a signed Amendment to the Consignment Agreement.
Payout is calculated on the standard price, exclusice of appllicable sales tax and shipping.
Consignor Payout Structure
The consignment period is one hundred twenty (120) days from the date items are listed for sale.
| Day 1 | Items consigned, reviewed, and listed at agreed pricing. |
| Day 75+ | Items may be marked down at The Reissued's discretion. Consignors may request pickup beginning at day 75 with 48 hours notice. |
| Day 180 | Consignment period ends. Fourteen-day pickup window opens for unsold items. |
Pickup Requests
Consignors may request pickup of unsold items beginning at Day 75 of the consignment period. All pickup requests require 48 hours notice. The Reissued will make items available within that window.
Unsold items must be retrieved within fourteen (14) days after the 180-day consignment period ends. Items not retrieved within this window will be considered abandoned and may be donated, liquidated, or transferred to store ownership without compensation.
If shipping of unsold items is requested by the consignor, all shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the consignor.
Consignors are responsible for tracking their own consignment term. Courtesy notifications may be sent as reminders but are not guaranteed and do not create any obligation on the part of The Reissued.
Records and Notifications
The Reissued maintains accurate records of all consigned items. Consignors are notified of sold items as part of the monthly payout summary issued on the 7th of each month for items sold in the previous calendar month.
The Intake Process
After your items are reviewed and entered into our system, you will receive an intake confirmation email summarizing each piece, its listed price, and your payout percentage. Pricing is set at The Reissued's sole discretion.
Continuing your consignment relationship with The Reissued following receipt of the intake confirmation constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the listed prices.
UPDATES TO THESE GUIDELINES
These Guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our operations, pricing approach, or selling channels. Updated Guidelines will be provided to active consignors and take effect as described in your Consignment Agreement. Payout percentage tiers will not be changed without a signed Amendment to your Consignment Agreement.
